Come to Downtown Mount Airy to Recharge!

The Town of Mount Airy is excited to announce the completion of two Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations conveniently located at the Municipal Parking Lot at the intersection of Park Avenue and Cross Street.

The Town is proud to credit the efforts of a town resident, Mary Beth Ruch, for this initiative. Ms. Ruch suggested that the Town provide the EV Charging Stations to encourage visitors to our Downtown area to support economic development, and to also promote this technology.

The installation was made possible by the generosity of Electrical Solutions, Inc., of Mount Airy. Many thanks to Mr. Michael Dixon, President of Electrical Solutions, Inc. and a member of the Town’s Recycling and Sanitation Commission. Mr. Dixon’s expertise and contributions helped to make this project a reality for the Town!
