Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Unit Visits Carroll County, MD

The focus is to educate and create awareness of Wreaths Across America and how to honor local veterans on National Wreaths Across America Day. The 80-foot trailer showcases veterans and illustrates how everyone can play a part in remembering and honoring them.

On Sunday, November 8, the exhibit will be at the Mt. Airy Fire Company Carnival Grounds. The exhibit will adhere to social distancing and COVID-19 procedures will be in place, including 50% capacity requirements, extra cleaning between visitors, and contact tracing. Masks are required to gain entry into the exhibit.

Babylon Vault Company is an approved coordinator of Wreaths Across America and has organized a local version of Wreaths Across America since 2018. This year National Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday, December 19 at 12pm. At this exhibit, attendees will also have the opportunity to volunteer and sponsor a wreath for the 21 Carroll County cemeteries participating this year.
