The Mayor and Council of the Town of Mount Airy Maryland proclaim the month of September as National Recovery Month and call upon all citizens, community agencies, religious organizations, medical facilities and businesses to "go purple" to bring awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, and to celebrate those living in recovery.
