Starting on August 15th, local entrepreneurs will be able to submit their application to compete to win $5,000, loads of publicity and other invaluable start up resources.

June 18, 2012The Town of Mount Airy is doing a major water line replacement project starting in early August along the length of Main Street from the Ridgeville Boulevard to Watersville Road. Police Task Force Draft Report available for review
April 2, 2012This report is a draft only and the Town hopes to investigate and include any comments or suggestions. We also hope to have firm numbers from the Maryland State Police before moving forward. The Police Task Force will take comments for 90 days.

Helping Hometown Heroes Foundation -
October 17, 2011Her by grace encounter with a wounded warrior led to the creation of the “Helping Hometown Heroes Foundation”. I was extremely impressed with their passion for our warriors and the fact that their organization is 100% administrative fee free….more in the November 2011 Mayors Report.
