    Bi-monthly yard waste pick up event for residents. Yard waste items must be in biodegradable paper bags (no plastic bags). The bags must be placed on curb by 6 a.m. on the day of collection.

  2. Civil Air Patrol Open House

    The Civil Air Patrol Mt. Airy Composite Squadron is holding an open house for the public to come out and see what they do. They will be showcasing all the different things they do and encouraging others to join to help with events like search and rescue, disaster relief, etc. 

    The event will take place May 21, 11 a.m. -3 p.m. at the Isaac Walton League of America Mt. Airy Chapter building, 6642 Woodville Rd, Mt. Airy.
