This is a 30 minute sneek peek at the ballet. Giselle is a romantic ballet in two acts. The ballet is about a peasant girl named Giselle and her mother Berthe, who both die of broken hearts. Giselle after discovering her fiance is betrothed to the Baroness, and Berthe when her daughter dies. The Wilis, a group of supernatural women who dance men to death, summon Giselle and her mother from the grave. The Wilis and Berthe target Giselle's lover for death, but Giselle's great love tries to free him from their grasp. Will the Queen of the Wilis and Berthe get revenge for all women scorned? Find out at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster this November 18 & 19.
