  1. Year of the Woman 2020 Dedication Ceremony

    January 28, 2020, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Town Hall

    All are welcome to attend this Dedication Ceremony, where Mayor Patrick Rockinberg will read a proclamation declaring 2020 as "Year of the Woman 2020", a year-long celebration honoring the centennial anniversary of the 19th Amendment, granting woman the right to vote.

  1. Roar Like a Lion: An Afternoon of Community Service

    For all ages. Beat the winter blues and feel the warmth of service to your community. We will have an afternoon of community service in partnership with local Lions Clubs. The Lions Clubs will supply materials, instructions, and volunteers to lead a variety of projects that benefit our community. Drop in for an hour or the entire time.     For ages 11 – adults. Meet Pepper, CCPL's social humanoid robot! Program Pepper to strike up a conversation, dance, or tell a story using the simple drag and drop interface, Choregraphe. No previous coding experience is required. Explore coding concepts and human robot interaction in a fun way. Pepper was funded by a Library Services and Technology Act Grant from the Maryland State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services. Registration begins 1/15.
