This program is put in place to honor men and women from the Four County area who have served or are currently serving our country in a branch of the military. Each unique banner includes the soldiers picture and branch of service. The banners are 30″ wide and 60″ tall and include sponsor’s name, prominently displayed at the bottom.

The Town will soon be accepting applications for the first round of banners starting in July 2020 and would like to invite interested parties to submit applications today. Approved banners will be displayed in the Historic District from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. The Town of Mount Airy cannot make any guarantees with respect to exact placement of the banners. This will be determined by the town according to space availability.
