  1. Calvary UMC Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

    March 5, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Calvary UMC - Good Shepherd Hall

    Calvary's Youth program will be serving pancakes, sausage, and drinks from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Tuesday March 5th. This is a fundraiser to help support our summer mission program Camp Joy, where the youth do home repairs for families in need in the Berkley Springs, WV area. The past two years the youth have built ADA ramps so the homeowner would have access in out of their homes. This is our big fundraiser each year that helps to cover the cost for camp and work site supplies.

  1. If I Were Mayor Essay Contest for Fourth Graders

    February 7, 2019 - March 30, 2019

    The Mayor will be visiting the elementary schools in Mount Airy that house our Fourth graders. A presentation will be given at that time informing students of their opportunity to write an essay of 275 words or less to enter in the "If I Were Mayor" contest. Prizes this year include $100 cash, a Governor's Citation and a Boat cruise of Annapolis on the Harbor Queen!

Streets and Roads Commission

  1. Streets and Roads Commission Meeting

    March 5, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Mount Airy Town Hall

    The Streets and Roads Commission consists of up to seven members including a liaison. The Commission meets on the first Tuesday of every other odd-numbered month at 7:00 pm at the Mount Airy Town Hall. The first meeting of the year will be January 7th, due to the holiday.
