  1. If I Were Mayor Essay Contest for Fourth Graders

    February 7, 2019 - March 30, 2019

    The Mayor will be visiting the elementary schools in Mount Airy that house our Fourth graders. A presentation will be given at that time informing students of their opportunity to write an essay of 275 words or less to enter in the "If I Were Mayor" contest. Prizes this year include $100 cash, a Governor's Citation and a Boat cruise of Annapolis on the Harbor Queen!

    NOMINATION INFORMATION - Two citizen meetings will be held for the purpose of accepting nominations of candidates for three Town Council positions, currently filled by Peter Helt, Robert King and Jason Poirier for the upcoming May 6, 2019 Mount Airy Election, and nominations being accepted starting with the first nominations meeting on March 11, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Town Hall.
