From discussions on citizen science to citizen participation, we will look at how we can all help decrease our food waste, compost our organic waste, marvel at the amazing diversity of the natural world in Maryland, find out if we are at risk for new diseases entering the United States during these times of environmental changes and finally we will discuss climate change; how do we know this is happening and what we can do about it? “Understanding Our Environmental Legacy III” will be offered the four Wednesdays of April at 7 pm at St. James Episcopal Church in Mt. Airy as a part of our environmental stewardship. Each presentation will be conducted by professionals in our community who are giving of their time and expertise.
